India: Ahmedabad

Today, after deciding that I felt vastly better that I did yesterday, I ventured out and tried to find a café. The one I found online was Zen Café, but I never actually found it! I did, however, find Subway, where I read the newspaper and watched Indian TV whilst gorging on what felt like the best sub sandwich I’d ever had.

Following this I tried to find the City Museum, which took a fair amount of time as it wasn’t signposted at all. I spent a grand total of half an hour in there looking at Ahmedabad’s history then moved on to look at the Jama Masjid (Mosque). However, I couldn’t actually get into the Mosque to look at it because the people I was travelling around with were wearing shorts, and you cannot go in without your legs fully covered.

Overall the day was pretty uneventful and I didn’t get much done! Trying to book a ticket on the bus or train to get to Mumbai was equally uneventful, so I’m no nearer to getting to Mumbai.

UPDATE: I just had a look at the bottle of water that I have been drinking for the last few days. There are white bits floating about in this. I think I’ve found the main contender for what has been making me so sick!
