India: Sightseeing Goa, Day 5

Today I took the moped to Old Goa. Old Goa is about 50km from the beach that I am staying at. Obviously I got lost on the way though! Eventually getting to Old Goa, I realized that it was nothing like I thought it would be. I thought it would be a little more ‘lived in’, but most of the town/city is part of a World Heritage Site, so ruins and old buildings.

Don’t get me wrong, I love old buildings ๐Ÿ™‚

Also today a really horrid bus driver almost drove me off the road. I was moped-ing along without a care in the world and before I knew it the bus had honked me and was getting very, very close. I actually though, “That bus is getting a bit close” as it hit the wing mirror of the moped, bending it round…thank GOD it’s all that was hit! #sillybusdrivers

One of the places that I got to was really cool, really photogenic. It was like an old church up on a hill and had great views. I spent ages sitting watching the world go by and taking photos.

Getting home and going in the shower I realized that there was a frog in the shower with me. It went from the tap to the top of the shower head and then to the washing line where it sat for ages for the whole time that I took my shower…voyeur frog!
