After a gorgeous few days here in Koh Tao, it is unfortunately time to leave. I have really enjoyed spending time here, despite a few days of illness and the long winded way of getting here, it’s been bliss to just relax after all of the action!
I do think, however, that I have somewhat spoilt myself by going to the islands off of Sihanoukville first. They are untouched bliss.
Koh Tao is much more touched and very western. Don’t get me wrong, they’re both lovely, but the Thai islands have a lot more mod-cons and people. I think if I were coming for my summer holiday this would be a lovely place to spend a few weeks, but if you’re looking for your own slice of paradise, I think there are too many people here for that!
