This week I went to the Richter City Roller Derby Grand Final between Comic Slams and Smash Malice.
There are three teams in the Richter City Roller Derby League:
– Smash Malice
– Comic Slams
– Brutal Pageant
Most of the bouts were fairly evenly matched, with both teams giving as good as they could. Some of the skaters looked so worn out by the end. There were only about eight people on the lineup for each team, there are usually a few more, but due to the Nationals, the availability of people is lower.
The final score was 166 to 139 to Comic Slams but I think that they both deserve a medal for their endurance, it looked tough!
