Today was our moving on day again, so we hopped in the wagon and drove down to Taupo for some sunshine by the lake…oh and a Skydive.
Ems got photos and a video as she was the Skydive Virgin…not anymore though! Unfortunately she did vomit on the way down but only once the parachute had opened. Never one to look on the downside she smiled all the way through and got some brilliant video footage of the jump.
I had a great time, getting only the video, as I got the photos last time. I feel like I was far more relaxed second time around: the first skydive I did was very stressful! I sort of forgot to smile and everything, but this time I’m grinning away and a little more able to appreciate it.
As I jumped out of the plane I do look a little deranged as the air caught my mouth giving me a sort of ‘Wallace and Gromit’ look!
After the jump both of us watched our videos and laughed our heads off!
We have had a restful evening in the cabin to get over jumping out of a plane.
Before jumping out of an airplane for fun we did do some other stuff this afternoon: Craters of the Moon, the Aratiatia Dam and Huka Falls. Today it was hot today. Really hot. Both of us were sweating like mad after walking around in the sun for so long.
