A few months ago i signed up for a half marathon: the AMI Round the Bays race. This has a few options of race length (6.5km, 10km and 21km) and I thought I’d go all out and sign myself up for the longest…I am sad to say that I did not end up finishing 😦
I made it to the 7km mark and then sort of gave up!
I am proud that I tried but I think if I were to attempt it again I would maybe go for the 10km race first. The moral of the story: look after your joints!
