This weekend James and I finished our fence. We’d started with one side a few months ago and have now completed the whole thing.
We worked solidly Friday evening after work to prep for the fences posts, managing to cement in a few before it got dark.
Saturday was a full on day of fence building. James worked to get the fence posts all cemented in and the cross members screwed in together while I painted fence panels.
We thought that it would be better all round to have given the fence panels a coat of paint before we nailed it all together. We were right to have done it this way!
I spent the entire day painting fence panels and dancing around the garden in the sunshine.
Saturday evening I discovered that I had ferocious sunburn on the top of my thighs, where my shorts had rubbed off the suntan lotion, and on the back of my neck 😦
We finished off the last few bits on Sunday morning, and have ended up with a rather fabulous fence!
