This afternoon I spend a few hours with my Wellington besties, having an incredibly civilized High Tea Hen’s Do.
I chose a small café called Martha’s Pantry, as I’d seen it a few times when driving by, but hadn’t ever had a reason to visit. I was excited to have a reason to now!
Our High Tea had a large range of sweet and savory treats:
– Mini chocolate cupcake
– Strawberry cream puff
– Mini passionfruit tarte
– Plain scone with raspberry jam, passionfruit curd & cream
– Blinis with cream cheese, smoked salmon & caper
– Mini quiche
– Caprice salad skewer
– Mini leek & mushroom filo parcels
– Sandwich
All this came with the choice of a hot or cold drink…although who would go for a high tea and not have a tea…
