The Mini Evermore bag

This has been a long time coming…but I finally took the plunge and invested in a new, correctly sized bag.

I have handbags. I have a camera bag. I also have tote bags coming out of the yin-yan. But I have been looking for a better bag, you might say the holy grail of bags; a bag to accommodate all of my day-to-day, but also with enough space for all the other stuff I need to carry with me occasionally, such as a camera, a laptop or tablet, or my planner. One bag to rule them all.

In the process of looking for a new camera bag, I have become slightly obsessed with House of Flynn. They’re a company that make bags mainly for Photographers. The company pretty much has a cult following and they seem to be really good quality and with enough space for all of the ‘bits’ you might need throughout your day.

They have a range of different styles, depending on what you actually want in your bag. I eventually ended up looking at the Evermore bag, which comes in two sizes;

When looking at the website, I decided on an Evermore bag. It took me AGES to decide whether to go for a full sized or a mini (these are 30% smaller). Eventually I decided on the mini, as the larger size looked quite frankly, ginormous!

Now that it has arrived, I can confirm that it is so pretty!

You can see in the photos, the bag has loads of pockets, and nooks to store things.

In terms of pockets, on the back there is a small zipped pocket that is big enough to fit a pack of tissues or a phone, and inside there is one the same, as well as two small ones that will fit a phone or something of a similar size. The front has five pockets and each side has two. So plenty of room! The largest pocket on the front has space for six SD cards to be slotted in. I store all of mine in SD card holders otherwise they end up getting full of dust and grime.

I took the foam insert out of my bag for everyday use, it’s just a little bit bulky. When I’m just carrying round my camera, I will add it back in to protect everything, but for now I’d rather be able to hold more items and pop the camera into its little travel padding bag.
