This weekend was my second weekend of portrait sessions. I had three over the weekend. This session was the third, and with people I knew; Lisa and Blayne. Well, I was really just taking photos of their daughter. She quite adorable.
A.J is just over one years old and very animated, constantly moving and picking up new things to play with. This made it a real learning curve, as asking her to sit still was just not an option. Up to this point I have been able to direct the people that I am photographing and they are mostly compliant, but this was a real challenge!
Eventually though I figured it out; it’s all in the lighting and in the placement of where I stand and the angle of the shot.
