Things I am loving this month: July

Things I am loving this last few weeks:

  • Rugby
  • Tiny Homes
  • New tattoos
  • More puppy playdates

Rugby

Over the last weeks I have been to see three rugby matches. The Irish rugby team have been to NZ on a tour to play the Al Black, and so there have been lots of games to go and watch.

  • First we drove up to Auckland and saw them at Eden Park. We were supposed to fly but the flights got cancelled and so we drove – bit of a palaver but there you go. It was a nice weekend with James…and I did get to meet an old school friend of his when we went for coffee before we drove home. The All Blacks won 42:19
  • There was a game in Dunedin but neither James or I could make it – Ireland won 23:12
  • The second match was Ireland vs the Maori All Blacks at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. It wasn’t a maxed out event, but it was good to see so many people there to support each team. The weather was shocking – we had to wear waterproof gear! It was a fast game, but eventually Ireland won 30:24
  • The third match was back to playing the All Blacks at Wellington’s Sky Stadium. This was a full house and the fans were psyched up for a win…on both sides! After a tense game, Ireland won 32:22

Tiny home holiday

A while ago I thought that I’d like to go off on my own for a weekend away. I decided to book an Air BnB tiny home in Hawkes Bay.

It was lovely! I drove up on the Friday and stayed until Sunday. It was just so peaceful!

New tattoos

I got another new tattoo! This one is supposed to compliment the last one I had done…It’s the same shape and size but instead of a lady with flowers coming out of her head, it’s craft stuff!

More Doggy Playdates

A friend at work recently got a Labradoodle. We’ve had them round to our house for a playdate, but this time we went to Wainui Dog Park. It was so cute.
