Fitness Goals 2023 [Edited]

Otherwise known about ‘The IronMan Diaries’

This year, I have decided to be fitter and eventually compete in a Half IronMan. The Half IronMan is in early March 2024 and as I progress through this year I will track how I’m getting on.

I know that it will be reasonably slow progress…but I am okay with that.

I also don’t intend to get deep into the technical or scientific side of things. My aim to complete the Half IronMan and not die doing it; to get fitter in the progress, and to better my skills in each of the disciplines.


Prior to this year, James and I have been running the Park runs fairly regularly. It did trail off somewhat into 202, but that’s okay.

Like I said, as I progress, I will blog and record the ups and down.
