This week was HARD!
We were split up into teams and we were doing a sort of triathlon relay. So there were three people in each team and three races: each person does each discipline but only once each race.
I did the disciplines in order. Mainly because I wanted to get the swimming out of the way.
Swimming in the sea was really, REALLY cold. And I didn’t have a wetsuit! The TriSquad coach had told me the previous week to not worry about bringing my wetsuit. I believe his actual words were: “Lets focus on your running and cycling before the swimming.”
Anyway, with no wetsuit and a sense of annoyance, I did swim in the sea. It was cold and there were things touching my legs, but it was okay. And I did it!
My cycling was slow. My running was average. But I think i’m making progress.
What did I learn this session?
Bring a wetsuit…
