I have just got home from a wonderful, busy, lively, happy trip with James. As his parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year, they invited the family to come and spend a long weekend with them in a small country resort on the outskirts of Cork. EnglandAs I had recently seen my parents,ContinueContinue reading “England | Ireland | England | Singapore”

Fiji
As a treat to ourselves, and because James turned 40, we took a post-Christmas trip to Fiji. We flew in and stayed one night in a little hotel near to the airport. As the flight landed reasonably late, we thought it would be better to do this than have to rush about trying to findContinueContinue reading “Fiji”

I even ventured to theContinueContinue reading “My Sunny Weekend”

It sounds like hard work, but actually was no harder than getting the bus into town π It’s organised chaos but it works. At Niseko Station,ContinueContinue reading “Sapporo”
Snowboarding!
After our long journey to Japan, our visit to the ski fields was fantastic; we stayed in two gorgeous, snow emersed hotels and had a lot of fun together in the snow. After one night in a capsule hotel, The Lodge Annapuri, we had to move on to our proper hotel for the remainder of our visit: Pension Tomten. ContinueContinue reading “Snowboarding!”
