There I was in the chair, ready with a clamp up my nose and a piercer in front of me with a scary needle in her hand. Only then did the thought occur to me that “this is probably going to hurt”.
The piercer had to give me some tissue for my watering eyes.
Seriously.
Not to be a huge wimp, but it was honestly horrible!
I count this a little strange as I have had my lip pierced twice and had numerous tattoos…and I know I have a fairly high pain threshold.
This lead me to ask the piercer if everyone is like this, to which she relied that it’s not really the case! I would have thought that this would be a little walk in the park compared to the lip piercings, but not so much. My previous tattoos and piercings were merely uncomfortable, but this was really quite a shock to me.
